Welcome to the Tribe
"Greetings, I’m Teri. I invite you into the Warrior Tribe: to welcome you, guide you, and empower you to find your own insight, sharpen your intuition, and trust your body."
The Journey
My journey into the wellness field has been a windy road of failures, successes and persistence. The many forks and intersections along the way all pointed me toward one calling: teaching and guiding others.
I want to support you on your journey of awareness, self-discovery, and healing. Let’s get started!
The Vision
I wanted to combine my love of nature with playful movement practices, community building, and healing modalities to create a space for learning and transformation.
My approach is raw, authentic, passionate, and playful. I seek adventure and connection with nature, and I love building communities and guiding joy-filled journeys of discovery.

Educational Roots
After ten years in higher education—concentrating on college athletic advising, coaching, and career counseling—I opened my first studio in Hudson, WI, in 2003. What began as a side gig in group fitness (since 1998) became my life’s work.
A Bodywork Love Story
While diving into Pilates, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the incredible body work of Yamuna Zake. I began studying Yamuna Body Rolling in 2001 and completed all YBR certifications, along with specializations in feet, face, scoliosis, breath, and pelvis work.
In 2018, I reached a milestone by becoming a Yamuna teacher educator, and I now take pride in training others in this powerful modality. To deepen my work with the extremities, I also added Reflexology to my practice.
A Martial Arts Love Story
My martial arts journey began with kickboxing in 1998 and evolved into coaching at a Title Boxing franchise for five years. I pursued a deep study of Budokon—a blend of yoga, dance, mobility, martial arts, breathwork, and mindfulness—under creators Cameron and Melayne Shane. I now integrate Budokon principles into the very fabric of my classes.
A Cacao & Sound Love Story
Introduced to ceremonial cacao in the Caribbean in 2019, I was honored to learn traditions from the Costa Rican BriBri people. This has since become a deep daily passion and practice.
My healing work expanded further through sound; after a transformative experience, I pursued sound healing certifications. I recently visited the Grotta Sonora caves in Italy and brought home gongs to share this vibration with our community. I remain humbled by the human body and its connection to mind, soul, and nature.
"I will forever be a student of life."
